Altar and Rosary Society

Mission Statement

Through shared spirituality and friendship our society expresses continuing devotion to Mary, Our Blessed Mother. We demonstrate our devotion through public recitation of the Rosary at our monthly meeting and year-round care of the altars in St. Thomas More and St. Edmund churches, making sure there are clean linens and flowers, etc. Mass is offered for all members, living and deceased, prior to our monthly meeting. Healing prayer cards are sent to ailing members. The Altar Rosary Society is an integral part of Blessed Trinity Parish. Our spring luncheon is our major fundraiser for the parish. Several card parties are held each year which raise additional funds for the parish. We also sponsor an annual fall Communion Luncheon and “Day at the Races” trips to Belmont Race Track.
